The number one reason for injury to the elderly is lack of balance and grip strength. Weight circuits are something we all can do not only be healthier now, but help prepare us for when we are older to have a better, longer, and healthier quality of life.
We also focus on corrective exercises that reverse the muscle compensations from our lives from sitting more than ever. Work, school, sitting in our car and just our general lives can cause tight muscles causing knee, hip, back, shoulders and neck pain. The only way to reverse this is through understanding what muscles need to start getting stronger.
We truly believe massage therapy is the most underutilized tool in health care. Muscle compensations can cause chronically tight muscles. Muscles that are chronically stretched and strained will develop adhesions compressing on nerves, which can cause loss of mobility.
Massage therapy is the best tool for healing many of these issues. Tension headaches, sciatica, tendinitis or nerve impingements and many back problems can be resolved through just massage therapy. It’s truly an amazing tool that everyone should take advantage of.
Massage rates are $45 for 30 min, $70 for a hour and $100 for 90 minutes.
A Healthy Diet
Eating as healthy as you can is so important.
There is no formula for everyone. We all have different tastes and beliefs when it comes to food. We feel our own personal diets are always evolving and we’re always learning about new things.
Don’t be put in a box and miss out on great foods that are out there. Find something that works great for you and you’re usually doing pretty well.
